We use Google Groups as our forum to discuss club activities and robotics technology. This is one of the main ways we share information about the club and help each other build robots. The HBRC Google Group homepage is a repository of past and ongoing discussions.
If you have a Google Groups account, you can simply add our list to your personal groups. If not, it is easy to set up a free Google Groups account by visiting Google.com. Our mail list can be found at:
Attend A Meeting
HBRC hosts two meetings each month to provide information about robot building in a fun and educational environment. At this time, all meetings are conducted via Zoom. We expect to resume in-person meetings in the Mountain View, California, area when the health emergency ends.
General Meeting: The general meeting is held on the last Wednesday of each month January through October. Meetings feature technical presentations and robot show and tell.
SIG Meeting: The Special Interest Group (SIG) is held on the penultimate Wednesday of each month — the second to last Wednesday. It is a general get together for participants to talk about their projects and provide help to each other.
Business Meeting: The business meeting is held on the first wednesday of each month. This meeting mainly involves planning for the general meeting presentations but also addresses all aspects of club activities. Club officers are expected to attend businesss meetings. Build A Robot
HBRC is all about encouraging people to build robots. If you don’t know what kind of robot to build, look at our Challenges page for ideas. If you don’t know where to start, welcome to our world and check our discussion list or Resources page.
Become A Member
Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings without paying dues. Dues are optional: anyone can attend meetings, show robots, and participate in the Google group as a guest.

The dues for an individual or a family are $10 per calendar year.
