Overview
This is James' cool hack of the Wowee Bugbot. By adding a $60 Orangutan Mega168 microcontroller (from Pololu) on this toy-bot, he made it move exactly like it did before! Of course with geek bragging rights that the bot is now intelligent.
Brains
Orangutan Mega168 microcontroller, 16K flash, 1K SRAM. The controller has a built-in DC-to-DC converter, allowing the Bugbot's 3V battery (2 AA cells) to power it.
Brawn
For the robot base, James used the Wowee "crane" Bugbot.
Sensors
Microswitches - bump sensors to go around objects (the Bugbot comes with this)
