Speaker: Ted Larson

Overview

The talk focused on mobile robots and how to develop control systems and software for their motors, steering, animatronics, etc.. Ted started with the basics of PID, worked up to modern control theory and then wraped up by distilling it all down to useful applications of the techniques. He provided references and links that explain how to decipher, design, and build the right control system for your robot, without needing a Ph.D. in control theory.
