The topic for the last couple of days on the mailing list about the rules for micro mouse (today is July 6th) has got me thinking about coming up with a new competition.

I feel like the micro mouse competition is a solved problem computer science. The amount of processing power that can fit into these small robots is no longer any issue to map and compute the shortest possible route through a maze. This just leaves the mechanical aspects of just making it smaller and faster.
