Next Meeting Coming Soon plus Request for Volunteer

Hello everybody,

An early reminder that next week is November's meeting (a week earlier than usual because of Thanksgiving).

Sam, our speaker, needs a volunteer with a truck to help transport his robots. (He lives 1 mile from Google, so it should not be far out of the way.)
Any takers?

Info on the presentation is below.

8th Annual Tabletop Challenge Phase 3, Tonight at Google

Hello robot fans & builders,

The time has come to put down your soldering irons and head to the HBRC meeting! Tonight is the Annual Tabletop Challenge, Phase III. This all show-and-tell meeting is always fun- please bring any & all of your robots to share with the rest of us! :-)

Tonight's meeting is at Google at 7PM:

7 Days Until the HBRC Challenge Phase III

For our final Challenge month of the year http://hbrobotics.org/ I’d like to challenge EVERYONE to bring a robot; not just any robot… your homebrewed robot! You know where it is… dust it off… charge it up… make those final repairs/tweaks… one week is plenty of time. I’d like to have at least 30 demos. Even if everyone has seen your robot before there are bound to be newbies and functioning robots are our stock in trade.

SIG Reminder

This is a reminder that the SIG meeting is this Wednesday, Oct 20, at the TechShop in Menlo Park (120 Independence Dr), at the usual time, 7:30 pm, and including the usual suspects.  Bring what you're working on to show it off.  If you have a problem, run it past our team of experts. If you just want to get out of the house, spend some time shooting the breeze with your fellow robot geeks, this is the place.

You do NOT have to be a member of TechShop to attend.

The September Meeting is getting close! Start building those Robots!

The next meeting is going to be a interesting one! The Neato Robotics Engineering Team is going to be visiting and showing us their ultra-cool floor cleaning robot! Lets make the show and tell a great one this time. Get your table bots started early so they are working for the November Meeting at Google!
